We pushed our machines and made the walls of the yo-yo even thinner than the Aluminum Hummingbird, at 0.5 mm which is the lowest limit for titanium, allowing for extreme weight distribution. As with most titanium-stainless steel (TISS) yo-yos, making a smooth yo-yo is a big challenge - but we managed to consistently achieve smoothness with the press-fit stainless-steel rims which are machined to precise tolerances.
