This new YoYo Positional warrants further discussion. The Accelerated model was renowned for its exceptional speed, agility, and power, making it a favorite among users. Its compact size allowed for effortless portability, and its reliability led to multiple stage appearances at competitive events. As the co-designer of the Accelerated, along with David Bieber, we initially explored the possibility of using a D bearing instead of a C bearing. We’ve since reimagined the design in two distinct ways: D bearing and monometal. This yoyo, like all our releases, is crafted from 7068 material and boasts specifications such as a 54.2 diameter, 45.5 width, 4.45 gap width, and 30.67 grams weight per half, paired with a D bearing. The outcome is a high-performance yoyo design that excels in every aspect. Each cut and weight wall is strategically positioned to maximize performance, and the D bearing spins up rapidly and confidently. By tailoring the yoyo design to the bearing size, we’ve successfully eliminated unwanted deceleration, resulting in exceptional performance. We’ve also carried over the ‘rim bump’ feature from the Accelerated, a characteristic that was suggested by Gaites R Klein and has since become a defining trait.
