Inside Out - Redefining Structure and Values -
Inside BRICC lies a quiet story told from the reverse side.
Its construction turns the logic that once inspired MoNo —the legendary YoYoJam completely inside out.

In the 2000s, yo-yos were built with plastic centers and metal rims, engineered to maximize spin time and stability — the so-called “golden ratio” of competition.
It was an era when reaching the top defined value itself.

But time has changed.
Yo-yoing has shifted from competition to culture,
from the pursuit of the summit to the rhythm of everyday life...

BRICC embodies that cultural shift.
With a metal core wrapped in plastic, it literally turns the established structure inside out.
Yet this is not a technical experiment — it is a quiet exposure of what matters most.

It chooses feeling over function, experience over numbers.
Through this inversion of expectation, A-rt and At Design Lab together uncovered
a new definition of casual design — design as emotion made visible.

In the history of yoyo design, the "Double Rim" structure has long existed as an iconic design element, known for creating a distinct, "floaty" feeling. Several legendary masterpieces, beloved by many players, have adopted this structure.
In recent times, driven by the anticipation of that unique feel, the double rim has even become a design symbol in itself.

BRICC turns this philosophy literally Inside Out.

The structure of BRICC consists of a central aluminum core and an outer plastic wing. The true core of its design is hidden precisely at this unseen interface.

This is a "Double 'Double Rim'" structure, where meticulously designed "double rims" are integrated into both the aluminum body and the plastic wing.

As these two rims interlock with precision on the inside, they add that distinct floatiness of historical masterpieces to the inherently soft feel of the POM wings, recreating and elevating it into BRICC's unique signature.

It is not a visible, superficial design element, but rather a core structure deliberately hidden and sublimated on the inside to generate the feeling.
