Top Yo - Photon
Another unusual combination of high end metals, Photon brings 7003 and 7075 aluminum using special techniques.
This wide full metal yo-yo is quickly distinguished by its rim, that looks very large for its body. Normally, you'd see bimetal yo-yos using alloys with very different relative densities, to help concentrate the weight distribution in very specific places.
The Photon flips this concept on its head, using two different alloys in the A7000 group, which have almost the same relative weight. The benefit of the large 7075 Aluminum rim come less from the density, but from its "hardness," compared to the A7003 body, making it longer-lasting and more durable. The yo-yo's design makes up for the unorthodox choice of materials; a wide body and smart profile puts loads of power into its undersized body in the form of a ferocious, but stable playfeel. Even when the spin finally starts to die, Photon refuses to tilt off axis, which makes it a trusty little sidekick!
