Presenting the BIG BIG PANDA! H5LEAF!

Partnering with the Legendary Return Top Brand - Caribou Lodge, as part of #C315th anniversary initiative! Created by Caribou Lodge's founder, our BIG YETI Chris Mikulin, in collaboration with C3 designer Ron Chan!


We go back to early 2024, the beginning of the story. As we started planning C3's 15th anniversary, Simpson proposed a collaboration with his Super Hero - Yoyo Master Steve Brown, evolving the previous H5Chief into a polycarbonate body and 6061 design.

The reason was that CLYW had not yet made a hybrid design, and C3 had never created a PC Yoyo with an inner ring.

At that moment, Steve unexpectedly sent an unreleased image of the LEAF, suggesting we could directly merge these two concepts, and the H5LEAF was born in our minds!

Combining four yoyos: Chief (2011), H5 (2011), H5Chief (2012), and Leaf (2024), along with the hybrid configuration, the H5LEAF is definitely a fun and massive yoyo!

"The Leaf is an updated version of the Chief, one of the earliest return tops Caribou ever released and arguably their most popular. Its iconic double-rim design set the tone for a decade of yoyo design."

The Leaf was publicly released in 2024 and sold out completely, indicating the popularity of the Double Rim Design. There are also reports that the LEAF will be restocked, so everyone should keep an eye out!

Steve Brown invited their team member Matthew Poon to join our talks because he is also from Hong Kong!

Matthew gave helpful feedback, saying the H5LEAF should be fun and good for competitions. He wanted it to have a wide shape for easier tricks, with strong spins and easy movement.

When he got the prototype, it really helped him, making tough tricks easy to do. He took the H5LEAF to the PNWR and made it to the finals!
